Yes, it is farm for important to prioritize the rights of our own citizens. The priorities of those living in foreign nations are not our concern.

Even though I agree that a country should prioritize its citizens wellbeing, I don't agree that they should do it in contrast of another country's citizens. As Americans, of course we want to make sure we ourselves are doing great, but that shouldn't mean we should ignore and disregard other country's citizens if they're not doing okay; especially our allies.
